Profit Centre Maintenance

  1. Profit Centre (A-Z) ie 26 options

    Muli recommend you do not use O & I unless necessary to avoid keying confusion. Where logical, use a letter to identify with the Profit Centre scope, ie:

    C = Construction
    S = Southern Operations
    J = Small Jobs

    The Name, Address, Phone, Fax, Text are defaulted from the Company records but may be different as Profit Centres operate in different locations and the letterhead on documentation needs to refer to the Branch Office.

  2. Full Title

    Normally, this will be just a default of the full company name from Company Maintenance. Unless you have a real need, do not change this.

  3. Short Name (of Profit Centre)

    Used in internal reporting to identify the Profit Centre.

  4. Address

    Allows for different address for Profit Centre

  5. Address

    Allows for different address for Profit Centre

    Allows for different address for Profit Centre

  7. Phone
  8. Fax
  9. Allow Projects own letterhead : Y/N

    When a company undertakes construction management projects, the Orders & Subcontracts created for the project may need to refer to the Client with the company being an agent for the client, ie: change of legal status, in which case a special letterhead for the project will be required.

  10. File Name of Letterhead

    Letterheads may be created in the background by Muli using the provided date OR Users can establish a letterhead as a piece of artwork. 

  11. Print Security of Payment Text

    Some legal jurisdictions require standard text to appear on invoices that are issued. Ie: in Australia, most sales have a Construction Industry Security of Payments Act and obtain the added protection of the Act, all invoices need to include - The indicated text that varies by state-

    “This is payment claim under Building & Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 1999 (NSW)”.

    “This is payment claim under Building & Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 2002 (VIC) ”.

    “This is payment claim under Building & Construction Industry Security of Payments Act 2004 (QLD) ”.

    “This is payment claim under Construction Industry Payments Bill 2002 (WA)? ”.

    “This is payment claim under Building Construction Industry Security of Payments Bill 2009 (SA)? ”.
