The Muli Subcontractor module provides a frame to monitor and control the subcontract process. You still need to ensure the Contracting documents meet your legal requirements.

You should be aware that the controls you wish to impose on subcontractors are fully supported by the Terms & Conditions of the Subcontract you intend using.

  1. Subcontract signed and returned
  2. Work method statement provided
  3. Insurance Certificates provided for:-
    1. Contractors All Risk
    2. Workers Compensation
    3. Other
  4. No payment to adjusted contract value until a Certificate of Release completed.
  5. When you are working with some Government organisation, they may require you to obtain subcontractors certificates that show all employees, suppliers and statutory obligations are up to date.

Muli provides a control method where the certificate is attached to each pay advice and until this certificate is received back, the next payment is delayed until receipt of same.

All subcontract claims should be forwarded to a nominated point where they are registered in the Unapproved Invoice register to confirm the actual date of claim receipt for managing security of payment obligations.

The Subcontractor processes need to be reviewed in the context of of the total project.
