11.11 Subcontract Payment Declaration Maintenance (11360m)
Released in N3.
Subcontract Payment Declaration usually is required due to a particular Head Contract Obligation [3.1 -22]
For example when you are working with some Government organisation, they may require you to obtain subcontractors certificates showing that all employees, suppliers and statutory obligations are up to date.
Muli provides a control method where the certificate is attached to each pay advice and until this certificate is received back, the next payment is delayed until receipt of same. Your company should confirm a standard clause which is able to be applied to all subcontractors required to meet these obligations.
When turned on and set to Y, the the standard clause maintained in [4.10] is inserted into any Pay Advice to the subcontractors.
You are then required to return a signed copy of this Pay Advice with the above Certificate signed by the company's authorised Certifier.
Subcontract Schedule items form the bottom level of detail in the Muli system. Their primary goal is to provide a breakup of a major subcontract into its identifiable components.
They are used for:-
- Subcontract Payment items
- Scheduling
- Cash Flow
- Quality Assurance
- Quality Control
