20.2 Phone PABX (22040m)
Muli has commenced evaluation of a phone system integration utilising Freeswitch and FusionPABX.
However, we have an approach which may be utilised from a number of phone systems, where the User can achieve export of "Call Data Logs" that provide network-based SQL update information at the start and end of each call (initiated or received).
As a second part of the process, we are utilising the "LDAP" to export Email, Phone and Address data.
There are two phone files:
- Call Log Recorder (interfaced to Incoming Register) [Menu 18]
- Number linked to RPC, Company
Muli Phone System Integration
Where Users want to include recording of phone and face-to-face conversations as an extension of Incoming Register, logically there needs to be a linkage between the phone system and Muli.
Muli has implemented the Open Standards FreeSwitch with Fusion PABX utilising standard PC hardware and IPhones/Video IPhones, provided your phone supplier can achieve:-
- At initiation of all calls, either (originate or receive), the phone system completes a network SQL new record of available information in the "Phcr" table in Muli.
- At completion of each call, completes a second update of the original record with the balance of available information.
- Receive a request (by agreed method) telling the phone system to initiate a call to ............. using handset ....., then dial the number and make connection to the User's associated handset (or soft phone).
A secondary table in Muli lines, by processing of calls, the relationship of phone numbers to RPC's and Orgs to assist in identifying incoming calls.
