Muli Construction Accounting Software is supplied as a Linux Accounting solution. This was a conscious decision as we believe that our clients interests are best served in the long-term by their mission critical tasks running on an open standards platform – like Linux. 

In this way a software provider, such as Muli, can be guaranteed access to the inner working of the operating system no matter what the status of the company developing or maintaining the platform. 

Muli took into account:

• that a company's accounting system is not a 3-5 year utility that becomes redundant because technology is moving on.
• that users of an accounting solution as well as the software providing companies need to have a platform that can be constantly migrated within available technology solutions.
• personal experience of 2 supplier failures

There are several distributors of Linux but with the planned release of the Ngipi version it was important we could supply a totally gratis solution, so Muli chose Ubuntu – a company with similar philosophies to Muli.
