5502.5 Linux Server Installation Notes

When preparing your server for the remote installation of Muli's Linux Accounting Software we recommend the use of Hardware RAID-1 mirroring. Muli does not recommend or Support Software RAID including Pseudo Motherboard RAID which has also resulted in issues.

Install Ubuntu Server edition (LTS - Long Term Support) whilst connected to the network.

We recommend reading this entire document before commencing your installation.

Configure your hardware's BIOS to boot from the CDROM drive first. Insert the Ubuntu Server CDROM and boot from this and follow the on-screen instructions.
