5502.5.4 Final Setup

Create the user "ubuntu" with a temporary password and communicate this to the Muli team member who will be configuring your server.

After installation, perform a reboot and then login as "ubuntu" with the password you set.

Type "/sbin/ifconfig" and copy down the inet lines (ignore the 127.0.0.x one) which will tell us the IP address of the server.

Ask your network people to allow Muli Management access via SSH to this IP address and communicate the necessary information to Muli Management.

If you have been assigned a fixed IP address to use (which is mandatory) and are confident with changing the Ubuntu config files, then please do so at this point and restart the networking.

Verify that it has the proper address otherwise advise Muli Management so that we can resolve this.
